Lyrice is a compassionate spiritual leader with over 30 years of experience. Born in Chicago, she grew up with a strong church foundation, dedicating her life to providing spiritual care. She holds a B.A. from Concordia Teachers College and an M.Div. from Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary. Lyrice served as a Navy Chaplain from 1978 to 2012, offering support globally. She has also worked as a Per Diem Chaplain at the University of Chicago Medical Center and served veterans at VA Medical Centers.
Lyrice continues her lifelong mission of faith and service as the founder of Her Comfort in the Storm, a non-profit organization that provides spiritual support to women, particularly veterans.
